Move-out procedure

The deadlines depend on what actually happened

    Landlord learns you moved out

    This starts the inspection deadline where the statutory inspection duty applies.

  2. Within 2 weeks

    Inspection within two weeks

    Written notice is normally at least one week. Shorter notice can sometimes be agreed.

    At the inspection, or within two weeks if the tenant was absent or would not acknowledge receipt.
